The Global Operations Africa (PMT) program management team leverages the power of the PSI network to establish operational and technical excellence in the market and beyond to drive positive and sustainable primary healthcare outcomes. consumer level. This position is expected to support a portfolio of countries including Liberia, Eswatini and regional projects in West and Central Africa and is dependent on funding.

PSI is seeking an Associate Program Manager who will support PSI’s operational excellence and execution of quality and standards by providing wide-ranging operational and project management support to regional projects in Eswatini, Liberia and Liberia. ‘AOC. Work with network/country member project teams, global technical and service departments and strategic partners to ensure program/project objectives are met and in line with donor requirements. Manage the programmatic and financial health of a portfolio of moderate complexity of one or more network members and project(s), or components of a network member/country portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities****Your contributions

-Provide significant financial management support to departmental and network/country member project teams, including preparation and monitoring of project and team budgets, financial analysis and budget realignments. 40% of the time -Monitor and ensure the proper operational and programmatic execution of a portfolio of projects or network members/countries, including monitoring changes to the agreement, work plans and deliverables, reporting to donors and sub-grant management in coordination with immediate team members, network member/country project team members and technical and global service department. 30% of the time -Provide routine administrative support for day-to-day operations, project management and general functioning of the assigned portfolio. 10% of the time – Provide support for knowledge management activities, including the design of knowledge management and information tracking tools and systems, the creation and maintenance of internal filing systems, the administration of online communication sites and the development of communication media. 10% of the time – Assist with new business development opportunities, including developing cost proposals. 10% of the time

What are we looking for?

-University degree (or international equivalent) in a related field -At least 3 years of relevant professional experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted. -Knowledge of international development, international donor priorities and/or preferred health areas (such as DFID, USAID, CDC, KFW, corporate and foundation donors). – Strong written, verbal and cross-cultural communication skills. -Skills in Excel, budget management and monitoring, and financial acumen. -Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and timeliness. -Good analytical/problem solving skills. – Relevant language skills by country and program portfolio. Knowledge of French appreciated. – Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment. – Ability to manage various workflows effectively and efficiently. -Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. -A strong sense of urgency and a strong work ethic, a positive mindset and ease with the ambiguity and pace of a dynamic and bureaucratic environment.
