India Post Parcel Tracking Service: India Post Parcel Tracking and Grievance Services will not be available these days

India Post customers can submit complaints and status updates through its website. However, due to planned upgrade activity, tracking and grievance services will not be available on the India Post portal. The upgrade activity is scheduled from 21:00 on 2022-07-23 to 06:00 on 2022-07-25.

According to the India Post website, “Please note that there will be scheduled upgrade activity from 21:00 on 23-07-2022 to 06:00 on 25-07-2022. During this period, tracking services and grievance process will not be available through the India Post portal. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

How to File a Complaint with India Post

Step 1: Visit India Post website homepage

Step 2: Click Help & Support > Help & Support > Customer Complaints

Step 3: Click on “Register a complaint”

Step 4: Select the category (Financial Services, Insurance, Courier Services and others) from the drop-down list

Step 5: Enter the required details and click submit.

Be sure to note the complaint number generated after submitting the form.

How to Track a Complaint Filed in India Post

Step 1: Visit India Post website homepage

Step 2: Click Tools & Support > Help & Support > Customer Complaints > Track Complaint Status

Step 3: Enter your complaint number and captcha code and click on the search option to view the status of your complaint

If Complainants fail to obtain an internal remedy, DPG ( may be contacted for redress.

Initial level for filing complaints

If the complaint is still unresolved, the complainant may approach the Chief Postmaster General of the respective circle. If the complainant is not satisfied with the action taken, he/she can approach the following officers at the Directorate of Posts, Dak Bhavan, New Delhi-110001 as per the nature of the complaint, for example –

1) Complaints concerning Caisses d’Epargne or Savings Bonds or related complaints.
