Registrations for 2022 opened on October 1. The fees for 2022 are the same as for the previous year.
the DUKE is an annual permit that most motor carriers must pay for if they have an active U.S. DOT number, whether or not they use that DOT number and it is marked interstate, according to the Permits and Licensing Department of the OOIDA.

The application of the UCR generally begins on January 1 of each year.
All states are required to apply UCR requirements whether or not a state participates. There are 41 participating states. Those not participating are Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon and Vermont.
The UCR applies to all motor carriers and entities that must register with the Federal Motor Safety Administration, including those based in Canada and Mexico.
